Meadows & beehives |
The meadows surrounding le Moulin de Ferrières have been the subject of a floristic inventory by the Burdinale-Mehaigne Natural Park, which has listed a very large number of varieties. The Natural Park organises training courses in meadow management, the design and maintenance of a natural garden, market gardening and biological pest control.
Le Moulin de Ferrières contains four beehives, the inhabitants of which produce a delicious honey available for sale. The wonderful work of the bees can also be discovered during educational visits. |
