The Wood of Ferrières

The Ferrières Wood, classified as a state nature reserve, warmly welcomes walkers. Nature lovers will discover an educational trail and several installations made of iron, in memory of the ore extraction that gave its name to the hamlet of Ferrières.
A connecting trail crossing the wood links the mill to the Feudal Castle of Moha, with geocaches along the way for explorers! The wood is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Visitors are asked to respect the usual rules to preserve the tranquillity of these discreet inhabitants—keep dogs on a leash and stay on marked paths. |
